You’ve hit a bump in the road
Here's what people are saying about our water sports adventures...
“This was our first Road Scholar program and it was wonderful. We were impressed with the organization of the excursion, the knowledge of the instructors, the planning of each day and how much we learned about the Barrier Islands. Kayaking was fun and not too strenuous. We took breaks and stopped at different points to hear about the salt marshes, swamp creeks and so much more. Kudos to the Chincoteague Bay and Field Station instructors!”
— Barbara from Lima, NY
“This is great program for somewhat experienced kayakers. Due to wind and tide conditions, strength is definitely an asset. The accommodations are sparse but comfortable, food is good. Dinners out and the crab boil were terrific! The instructors are knowledgeable and fun to be with. The location is so convenient with beaches, marshes, little quaint beach towns within 20 minutes. This was our first Road Scholar trip and we are already planning our next!”
— Natalie from Buffalo, NY
