Easy
For people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
Moderate
These programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
Active
For people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately Challenging
For hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
Challenging
Get ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

I looked forward to this program for almost a year. I was not disappointed. There is so much to do at the Rehab Center. Sue has very little help. There are many, many animals there besides panthers and other cats. The variety is amazing. Most of them are in cages, but you can get right up to the cages. There are many animals loose on the grounds: domestic cats, dogs, peacocks, roosters, hens, deer, a 3 month old wild hog who kept us all entertained. They are all very friendly and well behaved. I agree with Teresa of Kennett Sq. PA., that the name of the program is a little misleading (Florida Panther Project) because it encompasses so much more. I found this program very rewarding and look forward to attending more service projects.

The Florida Panther Service Program I participated in turned out to be one of the most satisfying and fun group experiences I've ever had. If you love animals and want to help in their rescue and you enjoy the company of a spirited group with a really great leader this is the program for you!

This is one of the best Road Scholar programs that I have attended. The Panther Rehabilitation Center cares for and rehabilitates many varieties of wildlife not just panthers. Alberto, our guide, was superlative - enthusiastic, hard-working, extremely well informed and even prepared beautiful lunches for us. Sue, the director, is kind, competant and knowledgable, very easy going and allows close proximity to the animals within the parameters of safety. We were always surrounded by tame animals walking around with us including pheasant, deer, 2 Sandhill Cranes, dogs, cats and even a litle pig. The work was diverse and rewarding, the participants friendly and compatible. I highly recommend this trip to all!

My experience at the Florida Panther Project was very rewarding. The Arnold Wildlife Rehab Center is dedicated to mending and caring for many different animals and bird species. Where local species can be returned to the natural habitat this is accomplished. Where non-native species are brought in, the Center cares for and facilitates their placement where they can live out their lives. Our group felt it an honor to aid the Center in any way that we could be of service. Marv and Kathryn of Oregon

This description is misleading. Our group (March 25-30) did not work with panthers or with any other animals, as they were in cages that we couldn't approach. The mission of the rehab center is admirable but it is not focused on "rescuing" panthers, four of which are there to serve as breeding stock. Much of the other description of the activities is inaccurate and should be changed. In short: a disappointment.
