PRESENTATION: Travel to a Pittsburgh Pirate Practice session. Then bus departs for Clearwater for the NYY vs Philadelphia Phillies at Bright House Field.

Afternoon:
FIELD TRIP: Participants will attend a baseball game "NYY vs Philadelphia Phillies," paying special attention to the umpire. After the game the bus will return students back to the hotel.

PRESENTATION: Retired baseball scout will share his wealth of experiences over the years. This is your opportunity to ask questions you have always wanted to ask.
Lunch:
A chance to create your own sandwich for lunch is offered on the last day to allow students who need to catch an early flight to take their lunch with them. Students who do not need to leave can enjoy their lunch in the classroom or on the patio by the pool. Program ends after lunch.

Sarasota is known as the cultural arts center of Florida. The area has a plethora of activities: Selby Botanical Gardens, Ringling Museum of Art, Mote Marine Aquarium, Historic Spanish Point, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Florida WestCoast Symphony, Van Wezel Performing Arts Center, Sarasota Ballet Co., Asolo Theatre Co., Golden Apple Dinner Theatre. The area also offers several high quality beaches, boat rentals, water skiing, canoeing and kayaking. Hiking in two local state parks. Sarasota Polo grounds are close to hotel.
