 Description: Rustic, retreat-style housing surrounded by the natural beauty of the Ocala National Forest and situated on Lake Deerhaven.

Day One: Sunday, March 03 - Check-in, Registration, and Orientation. 
Afternoon: Welcome to Deerhaven. Registration and check-in from 3:30-5:00 PM. Each participant will receive an orientation folder and name tag.

Dinner: Served in dining area of main building.

Evening: Information and schedules in the orientation packets will be discussed and all participants will share in a "get acquainted" activity to get to know each other a little better.

Day Two: Monday, March 04 - Canoe instruction and practice on Lake Deerhaven. 
Breakfast: Served in dining area of main building.

Morning: Guest speaker on birding.

Lunch: Picnic lunch at Deerhaven Conference Center.

Afternoon: Briefing by canoe instructor in main building. Unrack canoes for launch on Lake Deerhaven. Practice paddling and maneuvering strokes on land. Launch canoes and practice skills on Lake Deerhaven.

Dinner: Served in dining area of main building.

Evening: Evening entertainment.

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day Three: Tuesday, March 05 - Canoe Alexander Spring in the Ocala National Forest 
Breakfast: Served in dining area of main buiding.

Morning: Start on Alexander Spring Run.

Lunch: Picnic lunch on banks of Alexander Spring (no restroom facilitles)

Afternoon: Continue and finish Alexander Spring run.

Dinner: Served in dining area of main building.

Evening: Evening entertainment.

Breakfast: Served in dining area of main building.

Morning: Start canoe trip on Lake Norris/Camp LaNoChe in the Cypress Strand.

Lunch: Picnic lunch on bank of Lake Norris (no restroom facilities)

Afternoon: Finish canoe trip on Lake Norris. Return to Deerhaven.

Dinner: Served in dining area of main building.

Lodging: Deerhaven Retreat and Conference Center

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Afternoon: Continue canoe trip on Juniper Spring run. Return to Deerhaven

Dinner: Served in dining area of main building.

Evening: Evening entertainment.
